Hey Reader,
Last week I explained the benefits of sticking with one social media platform, and introduced you to the CEO mindset.
But if you've been paying attention, you might notice I'm not exactly following my own advice. I'm consistently creating new content across various platforms.
In fact, several months ago, I decided to reintroduce multiple platforms, including the revival of my podcast, Jereshia Said, and posting to my YouTube channel again.
I promise I’m not a “teach them one thing, do another” person. Let me explain…
YouTube and podcast content are engineered for binging.
One thing that I have learned over the years is if somebody consumes three to four hours of your content — when the messaging is properly aligned — the listener is in a position to make a buying decision.
Creating long-form content that resonates with your ideal customer gives you the chance to speed up their decision-making process. If you’ve got enough content for them to binge through, you’ve already primed them to make the leap
One strategy I teach my clients and apply in my own business is mastering the art of content repurposing. When you know something has performed well on Instagram, you can redistribute it across multiple channels.
For example, I've turned Instagram livestreams into podcast episodes. Now, I'm cross-posting to YouTube. This maximizes my reach and impact because my messaging is properly aligned.
As CEO of my business, I’ve made some big decisions that created capacity in three areas: Staffing, efficiency, and cash flow.
Staffing: I now have part-time and project based team members. This allows me to double my capacity and be in multiple places at once without burning myself out - coaching clients, closing sales calls, scheduling and posting content.
Standardizing curriculum and delivery: Multiplatform content production is now possible because I've created efficiencies that accomplish two critical things:
Cashflow: I make decisions that generate resources and positive cash flow without compromising our client delivery, reputation, or the results they achieve.
At this point in my business, I can consistently create — and repurpose — content across multiple platforms and maintain client expectations.
We have the capacity to handle a higher lead generation volume, which — now that our message is dialed in — leads to more clients and revenue.
Earning a million dollars in revenue happens incrementally — not in a few months. You speed up that timeline when you simplify your message and streamline processes.
Everything starts with a message you refine over time while you deliver the results you promise.
